Nitric oxide

IMPORTANCE

Nitric oxide is produced by the human body from L-arginine. Nitric oxide, synthesized in nerve cells, ensures the transmission of information. The one derived from white blood cells, in turn, helps fight tumor cells and microorganisms that threaten human health. However, the most important function is to allow better blood circulation to the muscles and help reduce systemic blood pressure.
