The supplement business is fast-moving. New product ideas, shifting regulations, changing trends. It’s easy to focus only on the next formula, batch, or deadline. But sometimes, what defines a company most clearly are the moments when the production lines stop, and people come together. Over the past few months, three very different events offered space to reflect, and revealed what truly drives our work at GreenPharm.
Family day: A reminder of what we’re building together
This summer, we welcomed our colleagues and their families for a Sunday full of laughter, food, and fun activities. In total, the gathering included 200 people. Wow! Kids enjoyed face painting, bouncy castles, and popcorn stands, while parents connected over mini golf, snacks and drinks.
Everyone felt the sense of connection when our leadership shared plans for the growth of the company. There was no corporate presentation, just a conversation with the people who make everything possible. For many of us, it was a reminder that behind every supplement we manufacture, there are real lives connected to the work. And that our families, friendships, and careers grow along with the company itself.

E-bike teambuilding: Pushing limits together
A few weeks earlier, nearly 40 of us swapped factory floors and office chairs for e-bikes and helmets, heading out to the hills around Banská Štiavnica. The route covered more than 30 kilometres of climbs, forest trails, and ridge paths with stunning views. Luckily, we had e-bikes and not regular bikes.
The day had everything: steep hills that pushed our limits, some minor falls quickly laughed off, and long stretches of quiet trails where you could talk to colleagues you usually only meet at lunch. By evening, the tired legs didn’t matter. We shared food around the campfire, and enjoyed the kind of camaraderie that comes after a shared adventure.
What does this have to do with running a supplement brand? Maybe nothing directly. But we believe a team that can tackle challenges together on a mountain trail is also a team that can handle the daily pressures of product development, regulations, and tight timelines. With the same resilience and good humor, of course.

Podcast with our CEO: On growth, trust, and trends
In a recent podcast with Adela Banášová as part of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year series, GreenPharm’s CEO, Martin Guniš, shared what it takes to grow from a small family-run business to a company with 120+ employees serving clients across Europe.
Here are some takeaways for brand owners:
- Partnership matters. Many clients come to us with just an idea. Together, we shape it into a product that works in the real market. That collaboration, from formulation advice to navigating trends, is what builds long-term trust.
- Steady growth over shortcuts. It might be tempting to scale as fast as possible. But rapid growth often comes at the cost of quality and stability. Taking a measured approach ensures we stay a reliable partner no matter how demand changes.
- Trends with substance. From collagen to electrolytes, the products that last are the ones that deliver real value to consumers. We help clients see beyond the hype and focus on what works. Why? Because no one wins if a product sells well for two months and then disappears.
Manufacturing isn’t just about machines and formulas. It’s about trust, relationships, and building something that lasts – values that matter just as much to supplement brand owners as they do to us.

To sum it up
Growth isn’t only measured in production capacity or sales figures. It’s in the way a company brings people together outside the daily routine.
That Sunday we spent with our families reminded us that every milestone is built on the dedication of real people from GreenPharm. The e-bike teambuilding showed how connection and resilience are shaped in unexpected ways. And the podcast put into words the values that often stay behind the scenes.
These experiences, though very different, share a common thread. They reflect a belief that strong relationships, transparency, and long-term thinking create the best foundation for whatever comes next.
